You should be able to just insert the CD into your CD-ROM and follow the onscreen instructions. It should start the installation for you when you insert the CD.

Give that try and let us know if you have any problems and what those problems are?

Problems

1) I don't have sharad folders.

2) What CD? It's easy to just say put a CD in, but what CD? is it a music, dvd or what?

1. Push the button that brings out the cup holder.
2. Put the shiny thing with a hole in the middle on the cup holder. 3. Ensure the shiny side is facing down
4. Push cupholder in and wait

hehehehe

Funny very funny, but what I mean is does this CD have to be a music CD, a DVD CD or what? Because it is very easy to say put in a cd and wait, but what sort, or does this cd have to be blank, or does it have to be a frontpage 2000 cd for me to install it???

Let me get this straignt, you have come to a site for serious people involed in serious web development... and you ask a question about frontpage?

I'd normally be inclined to embrace the fact that you've decided to join the party of people willing to learn in some respect about web development - but your choice of tool to do so is just asking for it.

Please, if you're going to at least have a decent dabble - use a real tool (or even a text editor). Until you have either removed frontpage from your system and found something else or have a labotomy - please stay away from here and leave the talking to the serious people.

May i ask how you can expect frontpage to come from a music cd. You need a CD with frontpage on it to install it. It doesnt just appear on a cd if you want it to. Heck, if that were true then piracy would be uncontrollable. If you have Microsoft Office there is a good chance its on the cd. If you dont then get a cd with it on there... that would be a good start dont you think?

Tara, honestly, this is a board about Web-Design and Programming and related themes, not about "How to get started with MS Windows" for newbies.

Question to you: Are you trying to make fun of us?

If you donŽt find the "Power" button for your PC (which imho is on the same level as your question about which CD/DVD to insert), people here will only make fun of you too...
If your next posts will be about starting or using FP2000, prepare to become the "Troll of the Month"...

... just my 2ct, i know you never liked me, so by now youŽll probably like me even less...

[edit]you guys are too fast for me... this post was indended as answer to taraŽs post 3 above from here... it seems like it is obsolete now here[/edit]

Tara did you read my post? I said that you need a CD with Frontpage 2000 on it. That is what you need to install it, if you dont have it you cant install it.

Simple.

Look on MS office Cd's if you have them since they normally have it. If you dont have it then find one.
