GIFs wont animate
everytime i view a gif file. it doesnt play, just stays on the first frame =D

same in IE 6 and mozilla 1.4

i got windows xp pro sp1

How do you know it's animated? Where did you get it or how did you make it? I see you tested accross browers: both the ones you mentioned have settings to prevent animated gifs from being animated.

oh that might be it.

i know they're animated cause, i had win98 and saw them all. but after i installed winxp one of the smilies didnt puke. so that got me worried =D

i'll try the settings. thank you =)

ah nope. both play animations are checked in IE and mozilla. i didnt restart my comp tho.
