Googlebots and Frames
I'm making my first serious foray into a website...
I've gotten two hits from Googlebots on the new site I've posted, and I'm wondering why they're acting so strange. The first time a googlebot hit, I didn't have a robots.txt file up. Now I do, and it excludes /cgi-bin/ only. The thing is, the googlebot will get robots.txt, then it will get "/", then nothing. index.htm is a frameset file, so I'm wondering if that can screw up bots? (Google is having trouble ATM so that's why I can't check up with them). Anyone have any insight on this? |

Doh! Stupid. I didn't think to check my page in lynx, and that's probably what's fudging it. Problem fixed.! Thanks mate!
