Help required with MySQL DB and upload?

Hi All,

Ok, I'm very new to MySQL but have made a DB from an Excel file in MySQL and can access it through DW MX and can get it to work locally via Apache/PHP/MySQL. I have spoken to my remote server people and they have enabled MySQL support. I need to know what I need to do in order to get this working from my remote server, in other words where should the DB reside, and will my PHP stuff work as it did on my local server?. Sorry these are very basic questions but I see very little information about this.

First dump your local db info and then just do 'load data infile' on remote server.

That depends on your coding style, but in most cases - yes.
