How to delete where cusor is

How do i delete a row where the cell cusor is?
Example: A2
I want to be able to calculate where the cell pointer is to be able to delete a row.
I used to use Quattro Pro and it had a function called calc , to calculate the position and the you would type in the macro {/ row delete } but i can't do this in Excel, OR should i say i can't find a reference to it in Excel.
I want ot be able to click a button to delete a row without having people to use the menus in Excel themselves, so i need to be able to write a macro with this function in it.
Can any one help please?
