Question How To Remove Files

Hello,

I'm new here. I'm just learning how to publish a site. I've created a website for someone. Before they signed up with their own hosting company, I uploaded their pages using my domain name, as I have yet to publish my own site there. I wanted to see how it looked live.

Now I need to get rid of those files off my remote server. I want the whole thing deleted.. gone. I opened the site under my client's domain name, then connected to my server. I thought by "getting" those files it would remove them completely. Instead, it just seemed to copy them over to my root folder.

Can someone please explain to me how I may remove the entire site from my server? Need help right away! Thanks!

If you're using FTP, your ftp client (CuteFTP or WsFTPpro or whatever) will have an option to remove files from their remote location. Check the right hand section of the screen !!
