how to uninstall MySQL on Suse Linux 8.2
Hi folks out in the world !
My situation is as follows:
2nd day back from vacation - a new machine with SuseLinux 8.2 Pro - with MySQL 3.23.55 installed - my boss tried to update to 4.0.? - didnt work, so itīs my duty now, as he wrote me in one line with icq.
Iīm a absolutely newbie in Linux and a newbie in MySQL, too.
I thougt the best way is to uninstall all MySQL-things and install it new from the beginning.
I either now how to uninstall nor where to find the files to uninstall nor what my boss do - I saw the file structure under Linux a few minutes ago for my first time.
I couldnīt find anything at the MySQL-Docu, so Iīam asking you now for help. Maybe there exists a quick way to solve this situation. I really appreciate any help in advance and remain so far with the best regards.
