Apparently not. I suggest you post at whatever message boards are offered by the folks that make Multiproxy, rather than here. Specific client application questions aren't really the point of the devshed forums, we focus almost exclusively on open-source server technologies. . .

This post has been censored for abusive language and attempts to get around the offensive language filter. Once again people, we do have underage members accessing this forum, so please try to keep your comments mostly G (or maybe PG)-rated. Also, being flamed is not a nice thing. Hello, me again
You really need to learn some manners and fix your attitude problem. ALL CAPS is considered shouting and rude. It should not be used to bump a post since it is insulting. I know nothing of the program you are using and I doubt many here do. This is an Open Source programming and software board so thats what most of the discussions go on. If your question is not related to Open Source programming and software then you are free to post it but dont get all annoyed if someone doesnt have your answer. As to you leaving the board, well I think things have gotten brighter here without you. No offense but I don't think you have much to contribute to the community besides the odd bit of entertainment laughing at you. |

I don't get it Hmmm... this is an interesting pattern: 1. Enter forums. 2. Do or say something rude / inconsiderate / outright stupid. 3. Get corrected or asked to stop by someone. 4. Get mad, throw hissy fit, post: "I'm leaving! I'll teach you!" Why is it that when people who aren't contributing, are being impolite or inconsiderate, etc. think that it's some sort of LESSON that they're never coming bacK? A common rule on the Internet: don't SHOUT in all caps. Can't follow that simple rule? Good, get the hell out of here and stop wasting people's time and DevShed's resources. Why on earth would we WANT you to stay if you can't contribute in a polite, helpful manner? There are three types of people who come in here boyd: 1. People who learned to be respectful on other boards. 2. People who are disrespectful but learn to be respectful and become productive members of the board. 3. People who are disrespectful and are too wrapped up in themselves to change that. You are #3 boyd and heaven knows, I'M not shedding any tears that you're leaving. |

anyways..I'm not serious..it's just forum..stop getting all upset..I made the post because I realized that you people tend to like to respond to posts that get your attention and are off the subject...I make a post about a proxy..nobody posts back..I make a post acting like I am mad..and I get more feedback..strange?..everyone would rather try to point out other's faults then help them with a question..if you don't know it..I understand..it's cool..but if you are just posting cuz I mad a post that got you hyped up..then what's the difference...LOL@everyone who gets mad when people use caps over the net it makes it feel like the computer is shouting..sorry if I was disrespectful and hurt everyone's internet feelings
...it's okay..it's only the net...don't cry about it. |

Apologies are meaningless...
...instead, show that you are interested in participating here by making thoughtful, considerate posts. You are still welcome to post here at DevShed, we just ask that you do it in a relatively respectful way whether you are posting questions or answers. ALL CAPS is rude: it is distracting and it is much harder to read than regular captilization (this goes for regular printed text as well, not just the digital world). As far as the original question and noone responding - that's been covered. It's not really within the scope of the forums. You're welcome to ask, and, if someone knows they'll probably answer, but don't get upset if you don't get a response. Instead, locate a forum or mailing list that handles this sort of question so you can benefit from a knowledge pool that is ready to answer that specific type of question. Finally, stop typing in ebonics... this last point is not critical, but there are a lot of people both on this board and in the real world that will look down on you automatically for speaking / typing that way. You'll find that you're also the butt of fewer jokes. [edit] One other thing: Take note of the smilies. I posted a smily with my wrist slap to let you know that I was being light-hearted about it, not screeching like a banshee just because you posted in all caps. Since sarcasm, light chiding, etc. don't work well over the Internet, the smilies make a good substitue to show various emotions and tones. Embrace the smily, for it is your friend.
