JSP & MySQL - would this work?
hi everyone!
i come from a microsoft shop where i've been using asp and sql and now am trying to broaden my horizon in java and free downloadables. i'm thinking of developing a community website using jsp and mysql as it seems a natural transition from asp and sql. would this work? i'm going to have a public section and a private section on the web, so i'll need to keep track of who comes in and out. also, i need to create a database with member info. also, i will need to have a text based, 'change of date" triggered, i'm thinking right now, info page where the text info will change daily. any general advice or specific examples of help would be greatly appreciated. michi |

You may try PHP-MySql combination .that is easier and faster than jsp-mysql combination..
