localhost what?
This has been buggin me for some time, Im fooling around and learning stuff about mysql, php, and perl scripts.
Some of the scripts that ive played with have a admin page, well lets take phpbb forum for example. at the admin page, it asks for you to enter the localhost. I know this has to do with your webserver but what exactly does it want me to put in there. should i leave it localhost? or should i put my domain name in there like <domainname.com> what should you put in there when a script or something asks for localhost. thanks so much if you can clear this up for me 8) Debar |

Since "localhost" is always called "localhost" and always refers to "127.0.0.1", they probably want your FQDN, aka www.domain.com
i never played with phpBB nor met this question, but i am quite sure on this one.
