mic for cellphones work with computer
i got a headset and it says that it's for cellphones. is it gonna work witha computer?
it's being shipped so i cant check ![]() thank you

that would be prolly 3.5mm stereo jack plug.
means that one metal bit is ground, one is for mic and one for earpiece. go down to your local radioshack and ask for: a Y splitter that has 1 stereo jack female input that seperates it into two mono jack male output so that the monos are the two channels of the stereo. they should have something like that and then you plug on mono plug into your mic socket and one into your headphone... you'll have to experiment to see which way round! hope that helps, computer |

oh. i just tried it and the thing is too small.
will what you're talking about fix that? cause i've no idea what any of the things u mentioned mean =D |

is it a headset with a speaker on?
if it is, the signals come through one wire and you need to split them up. You are likely to need a 2.5mm to 3.5mm inline adapter for stereo to (2.5mm female - 3.5mm male). hope this makes sense computer PS: used to work in an audio shop ![]() |

i went to radio shack telling them what u told me =D but they said they dont got that thing. so i got a normal headset and gonna refund that other one.
