MS Access - Can't edit through form
Brand new to MS Access and have no choice but to learn a few of the basics. In short...
I'm accessing a db created by someone else with six tables. If I view one table through a form I can edit it (make changes in the contents) however, when I set up a relationship between two of the tables my form displays the selected fields perfectly but I can't edit the information in the fields. I have three books I've been pouring over off and on all day and I'm still clueless as to why I can't edit the contents under these circumstances. It's undoubtedly something very simple I'm missing but I have no idea what it is. Any help is *greatly* appreciated. |

Are the fields you are trying to edit the linked fields? ie. the primary key/index fields.
If so, you can't actually change these fields as they require each other to be the same in order to maintain the relationship.
