Sup guys?
Just checking in saying hi, my names jeff. Well i have a few questions: 1. i have never worked with php, but have worked with java / c++ / flash and wanted to know if it would take me long to pick up php. 2. I have a project i would like to complete for complete explanation see below and how long do you think this would take someone to complete let alone me? thanks for your input! - Jeff AKA EnSanity Program: program purpose : to be able to reserve periods on a certain day for the computer lab. K you have a calendar 1. You click a date on the calendar then it will 2. bring up that day (ex. you select the 13th of feb, it will bring up classroom periods A - 6 for 13th of feb. ) 3. it will then next to each of the periods tell u if its available for signup or not. if it is not instead of displayiong available next to the period # it will display the user name that reserved it. 4. if it is available it will display 'available' next to the period number. this 'available' will be a button. when u click it, it will use the loadMovie() command to bring up a login screen. 5. if you enter your information correctly you will have successfully reserved that period. (ex. you click period 3 before: Period 3: Available after: Period 3: Senocular 6. Then if you decide u dont want that period later, you may click on your name (which is now also a button) and it will laodMovie() the login screen, and if u enter the correct info using the 'senocular' as the username because u reserved it, it will change the space back to available. ex. before: Period 3: Senocular after : Period 3: Available |

If you already are familiar with C++ you should be able to pick up PHP pretty quickly. The syntax is taken a lot from C and Perl.
