PHP Tools
What coding tool do you recomend for writing PHP code?... What webserver (a small one if possible) runs under Windows 9x and understands PHP scripting?

At the moment i use homesite http://www.allaire.com/products/homesite/index.cfm, this is a commercial product and will cost you (although you can try out the trail version) Also you may want to have a look at http://www.textpad.com/ this is a free product , both of these colour php code thus they are alot better then notepad Webservers, i use IIS for my windows machine i think you can use PWS too , but i dont know about small ones , try Apache Waseem |

The program I use is HTML Beauty. You have to download the php syntax highlighting separately though.
PHP coder PHPed PhPtriad As for the web server if you use PHP coder you don't actually need a web server it will parse your pages. But if you don't go that route Apache web server is the way to go. www.apache.org. |
