Pinging through the Net !!!

I have some apps running in proprietairy system in a site not far from my home.

Is there a way I could ping my internet units from home.

I usually use Terminal Server to get into my Win2K server at this site but wonder if I can ping these units with ethernet cards through the Net and my Linxsys router.

For instance, I stand at 65.92.105.xxx and my system are at IP # 65.92.46.xxx and have local address like 192.168.1.160

It will help troubleshoot some SMTP functions within them.

I'm not bad at programming automated device but when my web links don't respond, I have to drive there.

I there a solution that can be acheive through the command prompt of my home PC?

I dont' follow. Is all you want to do is ping the systems to make sure their network connection is up, or do you want contact some service on the remote system?
