programming languages question
Hi everyone.I was wondering,how can I understand the programming language used to write a certain software without knowing it in advance?My problem is more specific cos I'd like to know with which language was written World Chess Network software but it can go deeper as to ask:is there a way(sure)to get the language without knowing the extension?thanks in advance.being a newbye suxs:-)

please could you elaborate? if you mean can you tell the language without the extension well, yes but only if you know how.

I'm certain what you're asking. Are you asking how can you which programming language was used to write a software?
If so, then one way to check would be to check the company's website. Sometime you can find this information in the help topics. Other than that, I'm stumped as to how you can find that out. If it's a windows application, then there is a good chance that it's written in C++
