Secure Payments: where to start?
I've made a php/mysql site for a client that has now decided they want to be able to sell records and other merchandise online. I presume that i need to do some work with ssl but other than that this is all new to me. Can anyone offer any advice from what to do next to what server i should be using, all much appreciated.

First get an SSL certificate from Network Solutions (or another company), get it configured on your server. Then, in your PHP scripts, the checkout link in the shopping cart should do to https://yourdomain.com/checkout.php
