HI, hope someone can help.

I am having problems installing php3 on a win98 machine with PWS.
Have religiously followed the installation instructions but get a
403.1 Forbidden: Execute Access Forbidden
error.

Presumably PWS is not authorising the running of a php3 script, but I have no idea how to solve this. It is not a simple directory permission/setting issue as it runs asp just fine.

anyone prevent me from going bald?

Got it sorted, the directory must be set Executable.

Ho hum.
