Question VMWare

Need help , anykind , never worked with Virtual machines , but am very interested !

To be specific, how do I make a virtual floppy drive? Say I want to install windows 98 and I need to use the floppy drive, it said initially I can use the "host" pc floppy , but when I try to access it , it tells me that I cannot!

Then under help it mentions the "virtual floppy drive" , I am unsure whether or not that means it uses the "host computers" floppy drive or it just mimics one in stead (which wouldnt really make any sence at all)! Very interesting concept the virtual machine computer , but I am at a loss as to how I can install!

Plus, installing Free BSD , under normal instances is relatively easy, only video cards have always given me trouble in the past, is this also a problem in VMware?

installing vmware is easy, first with the virtual floppy it uses the one on your comp not another host.

im not sure if its going to give you problems if you have win 98/ME
but i have xp pro and it works fine.

If you need a copy post back
