Pricing
I charge $90 an hour for flash stuff and I think that's low. I wouldn't charge any less for it. People are killing the market by charging nothing for work, making people invaluable. Figure out how long it will take, figure out your hourly rate and times the answer by 3. That usually covers you with changes on the client side, cost of electricity, computer you use, a % of the programs you need, food while working on the project, meeting time and internet connection. It may sound like a lot when all is said and done, but why would you work for free? What has the client given you?
I've given clients deals many times and they still complain about the cost, want to make more changes for free and try not to pay the total bill. It's not worth it when all is said and done! It's not like I suck or am new at this. I've been doing this for 6 years and won awards! Good luck! |

My suggestion is don't type like that when you put text in their presentation. And there's nothing you really can do about that project now, you've accepted it. Just learn and think your fee through more carefully next time.
