Hi to everyone,

Where does a novice, who knows nothing about mySQL, start to learn the very basics? Is this information available off the web?

Thanks for your assistance and take care

Pierre

Hey. Glad to see you want to learn about MySQL. Anyways, take a trip over to the MySQL Manual on their site.
http://www.mysql.com/Manual_chapter/

They have EVERYTHING there. Hope that helps.

(Oh, and also pay close attension to discussions on MySQL in the MySQL forum.)
