WindowsXP, LAN and ICS
hello everybody (who is reading this)
Im looking for some info on my home LAN setup with ICS enabled.
Having recently just set it up (4 pc's on XP - host on XP with broadband) I've noticed a problem (well more of a tiny little frustration that has gotten way out of hand trying to iron it out). Basically - what i would like to do is share the bandwidth out equally BUT keep the majority for the host (running ftp server etc).
I played around with QoS but im not sure thats the key...
At first i thought of capping the bandwidth threshold for the other pc's.. but that was proving way to difficult for me since XP, it seems, doesnt have any software or method to allow you to do that... at the moment im just using a small program called Bandwidth Control Manager but even that is very limited.
Any ideas please? before i just FOOORMMMAAT from frustration
Cheers if you can and cheers if you cant!
