hey im kinda new at networking i want to play games against my brother both of the computers are side by side and one is win98se and the other is winxp and they both have ethernet cards... so would i have to put another ethernet card in and get a cat5 crossover cable to share the internet connection and play LAN games? if so what would i do after that? how would i set up the ip addresses or something like that?? please reply!! thx

then use XP to set up a SOHO network and use the network floppy to install it on 98... |

i set up a SOHO network after i install the network card and the crossover cable then what floppy do i put on 98? does soho create a floppy or what? HELP :-(

the wizard should ask you to insert a blank floppy to create a disk...
