Xawtv no picture
hello guys,
I need help on xawtv. My tv card is listed as card number 21 ( image world conference tv card bt878). When i start Xawtv, i get a black image even if i tune the frequency. After examening i saw that in the sources tab only my usb camera is listed and the tv card is not listed so there could be a problem concerning bttv modules. Can somebody help me i am running redhat 9? This is what my error log tells me: Oct 7 19:16:25 SERVER kernel: i2c-core.o: i2c core module Oct 7 19:16:25 SERVER kernel: i2c-algo-bit.o: i2c bit algorithm module Oct 7 19:16:25 SERVER kernel: bttv: driver version 0.7.104 loaded Oct 7 19:16:25 SERVER kernel: bttv: using 4 buffers with 2080k (8320k total) for capture Oct 7 19:16:25 SERVER kernel: bttv: Host bridge is VIA Technologies, Inc. I think the card isn't compatible with linux. Try locating a generic driver for it.
