I would very much like to create some simple menus. Pretty much exactly like the ones to the left of the devshed.com home page.

I see in the HTML source, there is a refernce to class="menu". How can I get my hands on that class file (or similar)? I searched the script database, but was unable to find it.

    Help greatly appreciated.

    Jason,

what they're doing is using styles..."class" is just a name for a prededtermined stlye that they made in the top of the document (before the <body bgcolor="#ffffff" text="#000000" id=all> tag). go here to learn more about style sheets:

    http://www.devshed.com/Client_Side/CSS/

i haven't checked these tutorials out, but it's a place to start.

You can also go to : http://www.java-scripts.net or javascript.internet.com for tons of free javascripts as well as http://www.javaboutique.internet.com for free/shareware java applets. They all have dozens of menu's ranging from 'cute but not really functional' to awesome flash-like menu's. When you have free time, mosey over to http://www.stepaheadsoftware.com and pick up a copy of AnFX. It's a program that lets you build Java applets without knowing any Java programming and doesn't require plugins. Happy developing ...
