After Adding Packages, Question...

Alright Ive added some packages from FreeBSD's port directory, now I can only run the program (in KDE) after going to Menu Editor and going directly to the package 'work' etc directory and adding the programs start command. And in a terminal, when Im in /home/namehere, or anywhere else for that matter, I can't run the program. Is there a way so I can run the program universal by just calling the program?

You should not start anything from the "work" directory.
Did you run "make install"? You can run it again and watch the output to see where the binary is.

Might also have to run rehash as root, although I haven't had to do that since 4.8 (possibly earlier).

Hmm, whereis should tell you where it got installed. If for some reason it doesn't go into a directory in the path, locate should find it.

Regards.
