    clone, mirror??

    schucks, I had a good link but I didn't bookmark it and cannot find that place.

    Anyway I am looking for some reading on
    "cloning"

    That is probably the wrong term but If I knew what was right'

    For example I want to have a configuration of freebsd just as dev where this system will be tweaked to death and basically When needed dump this setup too a new HD.

    What am I looking for?
    I know there is much stuff and ways to accomplish this but I want to know the goods!?

    Obviously would be transferred with GENERIC kernel.

    Thanks;

    In this example

    If the person were to jump back to GENERIC and then dump and throw the HD onto a new box things should work eh.

    Be awhile before I attempt this type of thing, just want understand this stuff.

    feel free and suggest other techniques too acheive this sort of thing, I'm dumb and don't know if NFS or other things might be easier.
