Crontab, correct syntax from command line help

from a telnet cmd prompt what is the correct syntax for setting up a crontab?

I want it to run at 23:59 everyday,everymonth,everyday of the week.

crontab -e 59 23 1-31 1-12 0-6 * wget http://www.mydomain.com/update.php


any help would be appreciated
