Disable hardware RAID1 FreeBSD 5.5
Does anyone know off hand how I can do this without reinstalling? Here's my guess but I don't know if it's right and I can't afford any downtime at the moment (IE reinstalling).
My disks:
ad6: 114440MB <Maxtor 6Y120P0/YAR41BW0> [232514/16/63] at ata3-master UDMA100
ad7: 114440MB <Maxtor 6Y120P0/YAR41BW0> [232514/16/63] at ata3-slave UDMA100
ar0: 114440MB <ATA RAID1 array> [14589/255/63] status: READY subdisks:
1: Change all references to "ar0" to "ad6" (/etc/fstab -- anywhere else?)
2: Restart machine and disable hardware raid in BIOS.
Does that look about right? Anywhere else I'd need to look for references to ar0?
Thanks so much for any help!
