Free Bsd

i am new at free bsd. could i run freebsd as a server on a dhcp cable modem connection and host a web site and ftp site.

also will apps like dreamweaver run on free bsd or do i have to buy another version to run on bsd.

Yes. One of the servers you can't run is authoritative DNS server.

Maybe. *BSDs have got all kind of emulators.
