FreeBSD - Adding/Edit/Browse Users
Hi,
I just installed FreeBSD 5.2.1 with a little bit of help.. In KDE Desktop i removed the user root, and added a user called Michel, Bud now i cant login anymore becouse the root acc doesnt exist anymore, and the account Michel doenst have the rights for things thad acc root does have. Does any1 knows how i can give my acc Michel fully permissions ? like a superadmin or something. Thank you.

Yes, you'll first need to boot into single user mode and then edit the password file with vipw. You'll need to change the uid and gid fields of Michel to 0:0
Instead of removing root, the better option would have been to merely change root's shell to /sbin/nologin
