freebsd + d-link 660+ = problem
I have installed FreeBSD 4.5
And I have a problem with configuring mi PCMCIA ethenet card. Pccardd says: "driver allocation failed, driver not configured" I tried to compile the kernel with driver ed but it didn't help. What should i do? |

Review dmesg and see if your card pcic controler was detected. If so have a look at /etc/defaults/rc.conf. Pccard is set to off by default. Have you copied the line to /etc/rc.conf and changed NO to YES yet?
Pccard support in the release version was sketchy at best. It's improved in the stable version though.
