FREEBSD or APACHE (which first?)

I'm about to rebuild my web server again after hard drive failure with freebsd/apachehttpd/mysql/php. Before I start, which comes first &then what order for rest? I know it's a newbee question...but it's been a few years since i've had to do it and I need a refresher. Thanks!

Well, considering that Apache is just a program running as a daemon on top ofFreeBSD (the operating system), I would probably recommend that you install FreeBSD, then Apache, PHP, and MySQL.

On a side note, i have moved this to the *BSD Help forum.

I would have to disagree. Make sure that you install all of your programs and then the operating system. Freebsd runs on top of apache.
