Hello,
In order to install several freebsd web servers, I have implemented a jump start server allong with unattended configuration files. This works great, but I would like to create a custom post installation package or script which I could append at the end of the unattended installation in order to configure some files, enable firewall and set some basic rules, ... As someone any idea on how this is done ? (the freebsd jump start guide is not quite explicit on this point) Thank Healey |

See the end of /usr/src/release/sysinstall/install.cfg and read
man sysinstall man release to see how to build a release system. The Freebsd docs aren't as comprehensive as the OpenBSD docs though .Also, see this article: http://www.gsoft.com.au/~doconnor/
