FreeBSD version command
Hi,
This is a simple question but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. How do I check the version of FreeBSD that I'm running through the command line? Thanks |

"uname -a"

Or, if you just want the OS name and version, uname -rs. -a will give you all the information available, including the system name, hardware platform, etc. man uname for more info.
