how to configure my sendmail
Hi all
For my work i need to configure a server. The part i'm working on now is the one for sending email. We want to configure sendmail in a way that emails send locally (mails that stay within the network) do not go to our isp's pop.server but stay within the network. This to keep the bandwith free for other perposes. I'm working with freeBSD for about 2 weeks now so i'm not very experianced. I tried some things out with m4-macros, but i don't understand that very good. Who can help me? Greetings StruiS |

Keep your fingers off m4 and sendmail.cf unless you really know what you are doing...
better read chapter 20.3 of the FreeBSD handbook, it explains your problems: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.IS...k/sendmail.html ![]()
