Mac OS X: Data Backup
I'm going to buy Mac OS X Panther this friday and I wan't to install it from scratch meaning format my computer before I install it but I need to back up the following things... Apple Mail, Safari Bookmarks, PostgreSQL Databases, and my Address Book.
How do I backup that data (where is it?) and I should assume restoring it would be as easy as copying and pasting it back to where it belongs.

Search on "Archive and Install" on the Apple forums. Or, if you want to backup to another disk before you unwrap Panther, backup your /Users partition. Bookmarks, mail, preferences and whatnot is all in /Users/username/Library.
