mounting a scsi tape drive
I am having a problem mounting a scsi tape drive.
The kernel sees it , but it wont mount. From dmesg: sa0 at ahc0 bus 0 target 5 lun 0 sa0: <CONNER CTT8000-S 1.17> Removable Sequential Access SCSI-2 device sa0: 5.000MB/s transfers (5.000MHz, offset 15) When i try to mount it: [root@cpr]/dev(184): mount /dev/sa0 /mnt/tape/ mount: /dev/sa0: Block device required even tried: [root@cpr]/dev(185): mount /dev/nsa0 /mnt/tape/ mount: /dev/nsa0: Block device required [root@cpr]/dev(186): mt rewind mt: /dev/nsa0: Invalid argument Can someone please help with this? |
