What is this command and what is it supposed to do? Have you tried looking in the ports tree?
[edit]Never mind. I found out what it is by hitting a freebsd site. You could try getting the sources from freebsd and compiling them on openbsd. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.c...r.bin/truncate/ I would test it out personally, but I don't have an OpenBSD box handy here at work. [/edit]

Thanks for the reply.
I get the source truncate.c and did: gcc truncate.c ./a.out usage: truncate [-c] -s [+|-]size[K|k|M|m|G|g] file ... truncate [-c] -r rfile file ... I test it on netbsd 2.0.2 and tomorrow I;m going to test it on openbsd. I;m happy that it works. Thanks again. |
