    Try rebuilding php.

So you are building from the port system? Or you are building from source?

I would rebuild all php dependencies just to be safe.

    similar problem

We ran into a similar problem running php 5.2.3. Works fine through apache... segfaults at last line when running from the command line. Not a huge problem, but I will post if I find any other information.
