Platform?
The freebsd site is so confusing? ... im on a AMD Athlon 1 Ghz which platform am i on?

That would be the i386 platform. Basically, the i386 family encompasses any CPUs that are backward compatible with the 32 bit Intel 386 chip (which includes Intel 486, Pentium, Pentium II, Pentium III, Pentium IV, Pentium Pro, AMD Athlon, AMD Duron etc.). The amd64 and ia64 are for the 64 bit CPUs from Intel and AMD.
