Ports installation
I use my own computer which has a RedHat Linux and I also have the production server which is a BSD. I have been using the per.php program which is installed in /usr/share/pear/PEAR.php.
The php script requires: require_once 'PEAR.php'; I went to www.freshports.org but it wasn't very clear as to which port to use. I found a pear-DB, installed with pkg_add -r pear-DB, but there were many conflicts. One conflict was: Quote:

rehash pear install DB :-) |
