Print Server
Hi peaples, I can't print over My OpenBSD Box .. I have a win 2000 print server connected to on a network A and the printer is on a network B. When I send a print job I get an error. My printer is configured on the port RAW 9100. I have authorise it on TCP and UDP on the firewall but I don't see any trafic from and to it. Do you have any Idea about this problem? ThanXX a lot for your help .. Shpiz |

Are you sure port 9100 is the port. There are different port numbers for different manufacturers and the port that the printer is hooked to. See this:
http://members.cruzio.com/~jeffl/sc...rintservers.htm Also note that internet printing protocol uses tcp/udp port 631. Can you do a netstat -an and determine which port is being listened on the Windows end.
