    Print Server

    Hi peaples,

I can't print over My OpenBSD Box .. I have a win 2000 print server connected to on a network A and the printer is on a network B. When I send a print job I get an error. My printer is configured on the port RAW 9100. I have authorise it on TCP and UDP on the firewall but I don't see any trafic from and to it.

Do you have any Idea about this problem?

ThanXX a lot for your help ..

    Shpiz

Are you sure port 9100 is the port. There are different port numbers for different manufacturers and the port that the printer is hooked to. See this:

Also note that internet printing protocol uses tcp/udp port 631.

Can you do a netstat -an and determine which port is being listened on the Windows end.
