Unhappy Problems with FedoraCore-4.9 Linux emulator
KDE-3.5.4 keeps freezing up on FreeBSD-6.1 (fedora core-4.9 Linux emulator) have to do a force power down hard restart without umounting HDD...can't use KDE at all!! Tried reinstalling all ports including KDE still no change...what can I do or where can I look for the problem? Could it be as simple as a cofiguration error?

I have been running KDE 3.5.1 on 6.1FreeBSD for several months with no problems (with Xorg and kdm). Is 3.5.4 the latest stable release? Are you using Xorg or XFree86? Are you using a login manager (xdm/kdm)? Are you using a screensaver?

What is the 'fedora core-4.9 Linux emulator' ?
