SSH - user with root priviledges
when using ssh to administer my freeBSD server I need to be able to have root priviledges, but SSH does not let me log in as root.
Do I have to create another user who has root priviledves and log in as that user? I am new to freeBSD, unix in general - how can I acomplish this? Paul |

add your regualr user to the wheel group, then use the SU command when you need to do root type stuff.
I believe people come here for help, not to get smart *** comments. I am sure they can go elsewhere for that. |
