Dear Friends,
I'm using the FreeBsd5.2.1 How do I do to activate the OID? It shows the message: root# sysctl security.jail.allow_raw_sockets sysctl: unknown oid 'security.jail.allow_raw_sockets' Regards. |

You can't do it with FreeBSD 5.2.1. If you look at the release date for FreeBSD 5.2.1, it was released around 25th Feb 2004 (see http://www.freebsd.org/releases/5.2.1R/announce.html).
The jail patch for raw sockets was committed to the tree around April 26th, 2004. (See http://kerneltrap.org/node/view/3075 for details). Unless you upgrade your system to -current (or apply this patch alone manually), you will not have this sysctl OID in your system.
