Turck MMCache for PHP on FreeBSD

I got a request from a client to install Turck MMCache on their server (FreeBSD) and now I need to know if anyone has any experience in MMCache, is it good, stable, secure, is there a better alternative?

These are similar php acceleration/caching programs that I found:
Zend Performance Suite
PHP Accelerator
Alternative PHP Cache
AfterBurner Cache

Thanks for any help...

EDIT: hm, maybe the wrong forum for this post, not really bsd related, sorry.
