wicontrol or ifconfig
Is there a way to use either wicontrol or ifconfig to get the ip address of the AP that a client is associated to ?

No, but you could probably use something like dstumbler to figure it out
. Google for "dstumbler" for more details. Another quick and dirty way is by running dhclient because most APs have dhcpd turned on.

Thx man. Yeah, I'm building a little client board with embedded BSD that I've been tweaking.. Just a little problem I encountered. There's no DHCP enabled on the AP, and i only have wicontrol and ifconfig at my disposal...
I guess I'll try a different aproach! ![]() |
