XFree86 and Window Maker
I just installed XFree86 and configured it with Window Maker. After playing around with the resolution enough, I finally got it working! But...only when logged in as root on the server of course. I have another user in wheel group that can't get into Window Maker. I type "startx" and it looks like it's going to go but it goes back to terminal screen. I don't have the exact message on the screen on me right now, but it's like it exited "X shutting down"...
How can I fix this? |

You need a wrapper to start X as an ordinary user. I don't remember exactly where it can be found, but browse though the ports collection or search the FreeBSD site.
