Xterm Window Transparency
I am new to the Freebsd world and I was wondering if anyone can give me insight on how to make the xterm window transparent. I have window maker installed and configured, but not sure where I need to go from there. Thanks in advance.

xterm doesn't have a transparent mode. You can use aterm or eterm instead of xterm though (check your packages or ports for these). I use aterm and start it up like this:
Code:
aterm -tr -tint blue -fg white & -tr = make it transparent -tint = colour of tinted background -fg = foreground colour All you have to do is configure your window manager to open up aterm with similar arguments and presto, you have a transparent terminal window.
